The Hocking SWCD Educator works in partnership with the Logan Hocking School District on programs such as Project Safe - Before Care and After Care. The District has many resources available for teachers including two Enviroscape Models, Ground Water Model, Stream Table, Wildlife Trunk and more. The Hocking SWCD Educator is available for presentations on topics such as soil, water, forestry and wildlife.

Funding is available to help cover transportation cost and teachers should inquire at the Hocking SWCD office for more details. (740-385-3016 or contact us via email through our website).
The Hocking SWCD Educator is also available for special presentations for scout groups, 4-H groups, homeschool groups, and more.
Throughout the year several workshops are offered for adults on topics such as Forestry, Wildlife, Gardening, Invasive Species, Pollinators and more. Check out the Events/Publications Tab for more information on upcoming programs.
