Hocking County is approximately 78% forested.  Hocking SWCD in partnership with the Natural Resource Conservation Service can assist landowners in identifying native and non-native invasive species, provide management plans for a healthy forest, work with the landowner and NRCS on available programs, provide workshops for our residents and keep our landowners up to date on the latest forestry topics.
