Bishop Educational Gardens Membership
Access to Bishop Educational Gardens (BEG) is by membership only or by attending one of our Free Scheduled Public Programs
To visit BEG any other time a membership is required.  
BEG operating hours are Sunrise to Sunset daily* 


To become a member send a check with your chosen level amount, name, email, and mailing address to:

  • Access to Bishop Educational Gardens during open hours year round
  • Fee Free Workshops led by Hocking SWCD Staff
  • Discounts on Workshops led by Guest Presenters/Speakers

Bishop Educational Gardens Volunteer
 **FREE Individual Membership
  • **Any individual who volunteers 20 hours in the previous year will receive the current year Individual membership FREE! 
    ​ (Lilyfest hours are NOT included in these hours).  Volunteer hours may be logged from spring and fall work days, Trail Maintenance, Garlic Mustard & Invasive Species Control days, Garden Maintenance, Volunteer Presenters/Speaker and any other special projects that volunteers are utilized.  
*The Gardens may be closed for safety concerns at various times of the year.  Please check the website or Facebook pages (Hocking SWCD or Bishop Educational Gardens) for closures ahead of your visit.
